State-Level Frontline Worker Awards 2025 Announced

The Meghalaya ECD Mission has announced the State-Level Frontline Worker Awards 2025, recognizing outstanding contributions of Anganwadi Workers, ASHAs, and Lady Supervisors across the state.
Award Categories
The State-Level Frontline Worker Awards 2025 recognize excellence across multiple categories: Best Anganwadi Worker, Best ASHA, Best Lady Supervisor, Best Convergence Practice, and Innovation in ECD Service Delivery. Winners were selected from district-level nominees through a rigorous evaluation process.
Selection Process
The selection was conducted in three stages: block-level screening, district-level evaluation, and state-level assessment. The evaluation criteria included service delivery indicators, community engagement, innovation, data quality, and peer recommendations. An independent committee comprising representatives from the Social Welfare Department, Health Department, UNICEF, and civil society organizations reviewed the final nominations.
Award Ceremony
The award ceremony will be held on Republic Day, January 26, 2026, at the State Convention Centre, Shillong. The Chief Minister of Meghalaya will be the Chief Guest. Award winners will receive a citation, a cash prize, and recognition in the MECDM Annual Report.
