Immunization Drive Schedule – February 2026

Schedule for the special immunization drive in February 2026 targeting zero-dose and partially immunized children across all districts.

January 2, 2026 Health & Family Welfare Department, Meghalaya

Campaign Overview

The Health Department, in collaboration with ICDS, will conduct a special immunization drive in February 2026 to reach zero-dose and partially immunized children. This campaign targets children aged 0-5 years who have missed routine immunizations.

Drive Schedule

The drive will be conducted in two phases: Phase 1 (February 5-10) covering urban and semi-urban areas, and Phase 2 (February 15-20) covering rural and hard-to-reach areas. Fixed and outreach sessions will be organized at all AWCs and sub-centres.

Role of Frontline Workers

ASHAs are expected to conduct house-to-house surveys to identify eligible children, mobilize families for vaccination, and provide follow-up support. AWWs should make AWC premises available for vaccination sessions and assist with registration and record-keeping.

Coordination

Joint micro-plans will be prepared at the block level with inputs from both Health and ICDS staff. Block-level coordination meetings are scheduled for January 25-28, 2026.

Action Required

  • Conduct house-to-house survey to identify zero-dose and partially immunized children by January 30
  • Submit list of eligible children to ANM/block office by January 31
  • Attend block-level coordination meeting on scheduled date
  • Mobilize families to bring children on vaccination days
  • Assist with registration and documentation at AWC vaccination sessions
  • Follow up on children who miss the drive and ensure they receive pending vaccinations
